Review: includes four editorials and two oPficiel announcements. The editorials
are Prom the Hankov Chang-Chiang Jih-pao Peiping Jen-min Jih-pao, Ran-
king Hsia-hua Jih-pao and the Canton Fan-fang Jih-pao commenting on the
eight disciplinary rules for land-reform cadres. The party and govern-
ment pronouncements include: (,1) Pronouncement of Central-South
Military end Administrative Committee of 2 December 1950 on the eight
rules for land-reform cadres to obey, (2) announcement of the Ceatral-
South Chins Bureau of the Chinese Communist Party calling for stricter
observance of tea cadre regulations (10 April 1951).
Appendix includes announcements of Lhe Ranking Bureau and Central-
South Bureau of the Chinese Communist Party regarding disciplinary
action taken against party members for violating rules, The rules
include no taking of bribes, strict obedience to higher authorities,
protection of peasants' Interests, etc.
