THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMArION USSR TERRITORIAL-ADMINISTRATIVE C,iANGES FOR AFRII 1953 ARMENIAN SSR By an 18 April 1953 ukase the Presidium, Supreme Soviet Armenian SSR, has abolished Yerevanskiy, Kirovakanskiy, and Leninakanskiy okrugs.(1) AZERBAYDZRAN SSR In his speech at an 18 April 1953 session of the supreme Soviet Azerbay- dzhan SSR, Bagirov, Chairman of the Council of Ministers, announced that Rakin- skaya and Gyandzhinskaya oblasts have bec.r. abolishee.(2) No official notice of this change was published during April-./ . As of 10 April 1953, Chernyavskiy Village Soviet, Chigirinslciy Rayon, Kirovogradskaya :.olast, is transferred to Cherkasskiy Rayon, nlyevssaya Oblast.(4) Voroshilovgradskaya Oblast As of April 1953, the settlements at Mine "Del'ta" No 2 and Mine No 5 are incorporated into the city-type settlement Bugayevka, and Kipuchaya settlement is incorporated into the city-type settlement Artemovsk, Voroshilovskiy Rayon.(5) As of 8 April 1953, Sulin Villages, Sutagan Village, and the Village imeni Kirov are incorporated into the city-type settlement Beloye, Alek- sandrovskiy Rayon. As of 8 April 1953, the settlements at Mines "9" and "10" are in- corporated into the city-type settlement; Yashchikovo, Voroshilovskiy Rayon.(6) As of 10 April 1953, the populated point at the First Division Zo_tdeleniye7 of State Horse Farm No 60 iraeni Dzerzhinskiy is named Dzerzhinskoye Village and is included in Novo-Strel'tsovskiy Village Soviet, Meiovakiy Rayon.(4) As of 9 April 1953, the settlement at the Mekhanicheskiy Gle.ssworks and Traktorovka Settlement are incorporated into Verklineye City, which is subordinate to Lisichans:c City Soviet.
