The following scientists were awarded Orders of the Labor Red Banner
on the occasion of their birthdays:
Sergey Vladimirovich Zemblinov, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor,
was awarded the Order of Labor Red Banner on his 60th birthday. The award
was dated 26 May 1953?(1)
Nikolay Nikolayavich Slavyanov, Director of the Laboratory of Rydro-
geological Problem's imeni F. P. Savarenskiy, Academy of Sciences USSR,
Corresponding Member, Academy of Sciences USSR, vas awarded the Order of
labor Red Banner on his 75th birthday. The award was dated 12 June 1953?(1)
The following awards were made to scientific workers of the Scientific
Research Institute of the Civil Air Fleet:
The Order "Badge of Bonor" to Nil:olay Vasil'yevich Podol'nyy; the
medal "For Labor Distinction" to Anna Alekseyevna Zhukova; and the medal
"For Labor Valor" to Timofey I1'ich Sapranov: These three were sll listed
as laboratory chiefs of a division of the inatitute.(1)
Vsevolod Mikhaylovich lieldyah, Ronored Worker of Science and Engineering,
Vice President of the Academy of Architecture, Doctor of Technical Sciences,
Professor, and General-Ma,~or of the Engineering and Technical Service, was
awarded the Order of Lenin} on his 75th birthday. The award was dated
