This morning, warm, slightly cloudy weather prevailed in most of the Euro-
pean USSR.
Last night's lowest temperature in Moscow was 12 degrees above zero; it
was 20 above at noon today.(1)

winds was observed in the Eatoaian SSR. Light rain fell in some places.
Temperatures ranged between 20 and 24 degrees above zero.(3)
Yesterday morning, temperatures were 2 degrees below zero on Dikson
Island; 4 degrees alcove zero in Murmansk; 12 in Sverdlovsk; 16 in Minsk;
17 in Kiev, Tallin, and Arkhangelsk; 18 in P.iga and Odessa; 19 in Moscow;
21 is Tashkent; and 24 in Sochi.
Yesterday's temperatures i.a Leningrad were 19 degrees above zero during

erly winds was observed in the Estonian SSR. Showers fell in some places.

above zero in Murmansk, 15 in Kiev, 16 in Odessa, 17 in Sochi, 18 in Sverd-

bad, and 32 in Tashkent.
Yesterday's temperatures in Leningrad were 22 degrees above zero during

southeastern Is~ningradskaya Oblast, and in Vologodskaya, Velikolukskaya, Yaro-
slavskaya, and Arkhangel'skaya oblasts.

fell 10 to 13 degrees in some places in these regions. Today, the weather was
cloudy and strong northerly winds were blowing in these regions; light rain was
falling in some places. In the rest of the European USSR, the weather continued
