At the conclusion of the 3-year course, the students will take rtate examinations. The one-year course qualifies students for positions leading functionaries. Persons recormoended for these courses should be under 25 years of age. They must possess at least 3-years of practical experience in party work, and they must have a thorough grasp of the subject ratter taught in the 6-month course of the former Land party school. The acceptance of students for both study courses is based on the recorraendation of the Central Committee, the Bezirk and Kreis managements, and the personal petitions of fellow party workers. The request for penaission to take the entrance examination is to be accompanied by a completed questionnaire, a detailed personal history statement, a health certificate, and two photographs, and is to be submitted to the appropriate Bczirk Party msnngement. The men and women selected to attend the courses will receive invitations from the Central Committee to take the entrance examination for the party school. All selected applicants will be granted a 14-day leave of absence Zf'rom uork7, with pay, to prepare for the entrance examination.
