IN TIENTSIN AND NUNKIANG PROVINCE
Zummary: This report gives Information from the appendix of
Kun_ch'an Kuan-li Min-chu-hua (Democratization of Factory
Management . It includes the production data and namer of several
factories located in Tientsin, and in Nunkiaug Province in North-
east China in 1949)
Tientsin Factories Increase Production
The Chung-hua Match Factory (Chung-hua Ruo-ch'ang, ~_ - 7. AZ )
produced 2,500 boxes of matches during June 1949, exceeding Its planned out-
put.
The Railway Parts Plant of the Ministry of Railways (T'ieh-tao-pu Kang-
t'ieh P'ei-chian-ch'ang, JAS A_ah JA ok, completed the pro-
duction of 470,000 spikes and 175,000 tie plates during May 1949, exceeding
or coopleting its planned monthly output of 450,000 spikes and 175,000 tie
plates.
Twenty-one workers in the ?orgin, de rt ent of the Automobile Parts
Factory (Chi-sha Chih-p'ei-ch'ang) U~ ? )) increased the
daily output of forged materials from eight bundles to ten bundles, and
agains to 12 bundles, and finally to 20 bundles during May 1949. They were
planning to increase the output figure by another three bundles in June.

The workers in the Piston department of the sane plan;, pro,tuced a total
of 71 pistons during May 1949. It was ?.7 times the highest fi,urc nttnined
before liberation.
