ment directed the opening of a "summer season patriotic health movement," to
protect the health of agricultural workers during the summer. The movement
is launching a wide propaganda campaign.

The Ministry of Public Health and the Ministry of labor issued a joint
announcement on 4 July 1953 calling on all mines and factories to intensify
the work of food inspection, insect control, water inspection, and other sani-
tary measures during the summer and fall.
