PAPERS PRESENTED AT SESSION OF BUREAU OF DEPARTMENT OF MEDICO-
BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES, ACADEMY OF MEDICAL SCIENCES USSR
An expanded session of the Bureau of the Department of Medicobiological
Sciences, Academy of Medical Sciences USSR, took place on 18-22 April 1953 at
Sukhumi. This session was held on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the
St,$humi Medicobiological Station, Academy of Medical Sciences USSR. The in-
troductory address was given by S. Ye. Serverin, academician-secretary of the
Department of Medicobiological Sciences, Academy of Medical Sciences USSR.
The meeting was next addressed by Sh. D. Getiya, secretary of the Abkhazskaya
Oblast (ASSR) Committee, CPSU, and then by I. A. Utkin, acting director of
the Sukhumi Medicobiological Station, who presented a report entitl'd "Twenty-
Five Years of the Sukhumi Medicobiological Station and Further Prospects of
the Development of Its Scientific Research Activity." In addition, the fol-
lowing reports also were presented at the session:
