f5omment: This report gives 14 statistical tables of data on
agriculture and forestry in North Korea for the period 1946 through
1950. For the most part, the data were taken from the 1953 Choson
Chungang Yongam (Korean Cent-al Yearbook), published by the Choson
Chungang Yongam T'ongsin-sa, P'yongyang, on 15 November 1952. The
book used for this report was a lithograph reprodL.:tionof the orig-
inal ;{ocean document by the Toho Shorin in Tokyo, Japan, and re-
leased on 25 June 1953.
Tables 6, 10, and 13 were taken from the Kvehoek Kvonge(Planned
Economy), May 1949, published by the National Planning Committee,
Democratic People's Republic of Korea; and Tables 8 and 14 were
taken from the 150 Choson_.Chvn YonE@.m, pi ished on 20 February
1950_]
