"Although Lenin on the subject of socialism and religion wrote that reli- gion is the opiate of the people, our party has rejected antireligious propa- ganda activities. This is so even though our party follows Leninist-Marxist doctrine and even while it has marched along the road to Socialism by improv- ing t.,e national economy and by making progress culturally. "We will have to expand our propaganda greatly in order to stamp out re- ligion, beaming our propaganda at the backward fanatical religious leaders and their followers."
