Recently the flow of freight for industrial enterprises producing consumer goods increased greatly. Three hundred tons of salt-eater fish from the fishing enterprises of the Caspian Sea have been delivered to the canning factories of the Dageatanskaya ASSR. A great quantity of raw silk bas been hauled from the enterprises of Azerbayd- zhan to Moscow, Vil'nyus, the Ukraine, and Uzbekistan. Quantities of sturgeon and high-quality caviar are flown from Azerbaydzhan to the workers of the Turkmen SSR. In November the inhabitants of Moscow received about 20,000 flowers grown in Azerbaydzhan. A large quantity of the ball bearings produced at the Baku plant were de- livered to the industrial enterprises of Moscow and Sverdlovsk. Baku, Bakinskiy Rabochly, 12 Dec 53 The Azerbaydzhan Administration of the Civil Air Fleet has delivered nenrly 100 tons of ball bearings to the industrial centers of the USSR. It has hauled tons of raw silk to Kaunas, Vil'nyus, Riga, and Kiev, engines to enterprises which produce road machines, more than 300,000 kilograms of fresh fish from remote fisheries oP the Caspian Sea to the canneries of Dagestan, and fresh caviar for the workers of Ashkhabad. The Civil Air Fleet has rendered a great service to the agriculture oP Azerbaydzhan. In 1953 the pilots dusted thousands of hectares of crops. Pereozznel of the Azerbaydzhan Administzation of the Civil Air Fleet, by competing with the aviators of the Georgian and Armenian SSRs~ fu1f111ed'?ahead of schedule the yearly plan fcr ton-kilometers flown by 101.3 percent and the plan for specialized operations by 133 percent. In 1953 a great amount of fuel was saved.
