In 1951, Portugal imported .1,772 motor vehicles, as follows: 6,119
passenger vehicles, including 2,403 from England, 1,780 from Germany, 896
from France, 512 from the US (the most expensive ones), 336 from Ttaly, and
others from Czechoslovakia, Sweden, Belgium, and the Netherlands; 2,927
cargo vehicles, including 2,020 from England, 529 from Germany, 314 from
France;' and others from the US, Czechoslovakia, Belgium, Sweden, and the
Netherlands; 126 other vehicles, including 472 from England, and others from
the US, France, Sweden, Germany, .the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, etc.
In the some year, Portugal imported 506 tractors from England, the US,
Germany, Italy, France, etc.
Portugal imported a total of 172,809 tires in 1951, including 79,951 from
the Netherlands, 30,917 from Belgium, 22,299 from England, and 17,839 from
