OFFICIALS TRIED FOR SEALING -- Kyssterdii, Kyustendilsko Delo, 9 Aug 52
On 2 August 1952, the following persons were tried by the Kyustendil
Okoliya court: Georgi V. Bagaliyski, former director of the "Zurneni khrani"
DO ("Grain Fond" State Association), for stealing 500 kilograms of grain at
the end of Aug.tst 1951 and 35 kilograms of rice at the beginning of 1952 from
the DO etorehonse; I1iya K.. Shukerov, former chief of the DO storehouse, for
stealing (together with Bagaliyski) 500 kilograms of grain at the end of
August 1951; Dobrir, S` Shulev and Boyar. A. Gurkov, chief of the DO storehouse,
for stealing about 400 kilograms of grain from the DO storehouse at the end
of August 1952.
Biagaliyeki and Gurkov were given 2-year prison terms; Shukerov and Shulev,
3-year prison terms.

FORESTATION AROUND DAMS -- Sofia, Rabotnichesko Delo, 28 Nov 52
Over 52,000 decares of land around the "Georgi Dimitrov," "Topolnitsa,"
"Rositsa," "Studena," and "Stalin" dams have been forested during spring
1952, Some 25,000 decares have been forested around the "Stalin" Dam alone.
This fall, an additional 15,700 decares of land are being forested around
the artificial lakes of the above dams.
FORESTATION IN DOBRUDZEA -- Sofia, Rabotnichesko Delo, 29 Nov 52
By 25 November 1952 a total of 29,735 decares of the 30,000 decares
called : by the 952? plan had been forested in Dobrudzha. In Stalin
Okrug, 23,700 decares were forested (113 percent of the plan).
