PROGRESS IN MASS TRAINING OF POLISH UNION ACTIVISTS
On the basis of the resolution of the Secretariat of the CRZZ (Centralda
Rada Zwiazkow Zawodowych, Central Council of Trade Unions) on 20 September 1951,
the Training Division of the CRZZ introduced changes in the program of mass
training for the 1951 - 1952 school year. Specifically, the number of hours
per course and the period of instruction for union activists were shortened.
Pamphlets issued by the library for trade union training turned out to be very.
helpful in raising the standards of mass training. Over 2 million copies were
distributed among those attending the course.
The results of the mass training program for 1952 are summarized as follows:

Before initiating mass training at the 11 CRZZ training centers, 5,395
lecturers were trained by means of 101 three-day seminars held between 5 Febru-
ary and 29 March 1952.
