Snow fell in the Baltic republics, Arkhangel'skaya Oblast, and the eastern portion of the central European USSR. Temperatures at 0900 this morning were 14 degrees below zero in Kuybyshev, 12 below in Molotov, 9 below in Gor'kiy, 8 below in Murmansk and Leningrad, 7 below in Kiev and Kharkov, 1 degree above zero in Rostov, 5 in Odessa, 6 in Yalta, and 7 in Sochi. The temperature in Moscow '200 was 6 degrees below zero. (1) 2 December This morning, cloudy weather prevailed in most of the European USSR.
