Table 1 lists reagents se- lected from a more extensive list (about 650 items) issued by the Ministry of Chemical Industry USSR, giving data for July 1955. The numbers in tha "Supply Depot" column refer to individual supply of- fices and stores listed at the end of the report. The information in regard to the location of the supply offices and stores, in ad- dition to indicating where individual reagents are used most exten- sively, may possibly also serve as an indication regarding the lo- cation and distribution of plants which produce some of the chemicals in question both for reagent and industrial use. Table 2 lists those reagents which appeared in both the June 1954 list (cf. 00-W-31379) and the current one. Only reagents having the same degree of purity are listed together. This list reveals a substantial drop in prices (and possibly an increase in availability) of most reagents, as well as changes in location of supply offices. Changes in street addresses and telephone numbers for supply bases 3, 14, 17, 20, and 23 have been included in the list at the end of this report, bringing this list up to date.] 50X1-HUM CLASSIFICATION C-O-N-F-I-D-E-N-T-I-A-L STATE NAVY NSRB DISTRIBUTION ARMY AIR FBI Sanitized Copy Approved for Release 2011/07/08: CIA-RDP80-00809A000700250048-0 Sanitized Copy Approved for Release 2011/07/08: CIA-RDP80-00809A000700250048-0 Table 1.
