The Hungarian :Light electrical industry (electronics) and the Hungarian heavy electrical industry (machines) are under the Ministry of Foundries and Machine Industries. 2. The light electrical industry is under the Ministry's Department of Communications (Hiradastechnikai Foeosztaly), which controls a number of plants. The only such plant is the former Standard plant in Budapest, which has been renamed for a ree partisan. This plant employs five to six thousand men and produces low voltage equipment and telephone and telegraph equipment. 3. The heavy electrical industry is under the Department of High Voltage (Eroesaramu F oeosztaly) in the Ministry of F undies and Machine Industries. This Department .also controls a number of plants The Ganz Electric Factory, in Budapest II, which employs 10 thousand men and produces electric motors, dynamos, and electrical equipment especially for military uses. b. The Ganz Electrical Equipment Plant (Ganz.Kapcsoloberendezesek .Gyara), on Koebanya ut in Budpest, employs about one thousand workers and produces all kinds of electrical equipment, switches and insulators for high voltage (.over 10 thousand volts). d. The "Dynamo" plant, on Vaczi ut in Budapest. This is a small plant but very important in war industry. I have heafdthat the plant is producing motors and electrical equipment for airplanes. Large sums of money were allocated to this plant in 1951-52 for equipment.
