The shoulder boards were 14-15 cm long and 6 cm wide, and made pf
cardboard covered with cloth. Buttons were of gold-plated metal, stood
with a 5-pointed star, and 1.5 cm in diameter. Stars for rank insignia wore
of gold-or silver-plated metal. Branch of service insignia me of silver-
plated metal and about 3 am long.
(1) General Officers - Gold-embroidered background. No piping. No
lengthwise stripe.. Gold-plated, 3-cm stars. (Page 8)
(2) Field Grade Officers .. Gold-embroidered background .5-cm piping
of branch of service color. No lengthwise stripe) 2-cm stars, gold-plated
,for non-combat and silver-plated for combat officers, (Page 9)
