Buttons were of gold-plated metal, stood with a 5-pointed star, and 1.5 cm in diameter. Stars for rank insignia wore of gold-or silver-plated metal. Branch of service insignia me of silver- plated metal and about 3 am long. (1) General Officers - Gold-embroidered background. No piping. No lengthwise stripe.. Gold-plated, 3-cm stars.
