1.. The Autorenova National Corporation plant in Hradek nad Nisou (0 51/G 07) was
formerly the Mraz Works, and produced presses, weaving looms and related items.
During the German occupation of Czechoslovakia in World War II it was changed
to an armament factory. After the liberation, the Soviets dismantled the
a'rma ent-.producing equipment `and. took it away*
The factory was, nationalized in December 1950 and renamed Autorenova. It went
into the production of.aut*dbile par a for the Skoda, Tatra and Praga automobile
works. In duly 1951 machine tools w e installed in t. -.mops that had
remained unoccupied, after the 'w r, said since then those .shops have been producing
tank components
