At 0900 hours on 4 February, four Chinese Communist gunboats, resembling DE?s, each 1,000 tons, arrived in Wenchou from Shanghai. The gunboats were armed with large guns, fore and aft, and two small guns on each side. The crew members were dressed in black woolen naval uniforms. 2. Ten 200-ton steel-hulled gunboats,,20 junks) ,four 250-ton sailing Junks, and 60 small sailing junks were also at Wenchou. 25X1A Comment.
