THE APPRAISAL OF CONTENT IS TENTATIVE. (FOR KEY SEE REVERSE) 1. On 26 November 1952, a plywood factory started production at Ramnicul Valcea on the banks of the River Olt. This factory is said to be. the largest in Southeastern Europe and will eventually supply all the domestic needs of Rumania,..as well as export needs. 2. In early December 1952, construction work was started on a thermo-central station at Sfantul Gheorghe de Padure. The station is intended to pump the natural gas in the area to other cities in the Transylvania district.
