-3. 1111111412016. From LeiPnig? the units received 99 carloads
in September and 112 carloads in October. In June, the unit dispatehed
56 carloads; however, third numberdoes not include the 32 oars in
September and 27 oars in October 1952 which are dispatched from the
Leipzig-Dresden railroad station. -. These 25X1C
figures indicate that the volume of deliveries in September end? especially,
in October, was higher than that in June and that these deliveries may .
indicate that the Soviets are starting to stock pile food, althoue an
estimated 25 to 30 daily rations are already availatae. The food ration
? supplies were drawn from East Germany. in Leipzig is a 25X1C
procurement agency foragricultural products. Although there has been
an acute supply crisis in East Germany sill!_tti!_f211_2f_12221_711.1e Soviets
raised the delivery quotas in Thuringia. 11 25X1C
It cannot be said whether similar measures were taken in other districts as
no information has been obtained from ether districts. The delivery quota
In Land Thuringia for the fourth quarter of 1952 did not change when
compared with that of the third quarter of 1952. 25X1 C
