and there is an observation platform on the Gerstenfeld customs house,

fluence of the Thaya$iarch rivers, about 10 deters from the right bank of the
Arch river.

Pots.hetarrald, an entanglement runs in a straight line to the Vienna.
Br*tislava main road. South of this road, the obstacle starts at Kapitel.hof
(N4, 08? E17 05?) and runs in a southerly direction, crosses the Vienna- Bratis-
lava railroad, and continues to about 350 meters from another barbed wire en-
tanglement. Then, running eastward, it crosses the Nitsee-Petrzalka (N48 089
Ei6 21?) road and railroad and continues in a southeasterly direction to
Antonienhof (1g48 06? E16 220).
13. A barbed wire entanglement runs from the edge of Ialdkirchen (N48 56? E15 21?)
to the Neu Riegers Piesling (N48 590 E15 28?) road.
14o Work has been started on obstacles about 500 meters from the border along the
Karlatift (N48 360 E14 450) - Buchers (N48 36? Elk 41?) road. An entanp1erTent
runs along the road Schanz (N48 35Q E]JI, 40?) - Buchers, about 1,2200 1 titers from
the border, 600 meters south of ?aulina (N48 36? E14 39?), to the woods around
Steinberg (N4$ 35" Elk 38?).
15. An entanglement has been constructed beginning 800 meters north of Dote 522 at
the north and of the Sta ?auer pond (N49 01? E15 01?), about 20 meters from
the border, .which runs eastward to about 200 meters from Kote 481 where it
crosses a brook and then disappears into a wood. About 1,250 meters south of
Kota 599 it reap reappears and extends in an easterly direction tov.rde Neuimuehle
(N49 01? E15 01?J. It then runs south past the former Czech eunstome house to
the Neumuehre-Cesky Bernachlag road where it connects with another barbed wire
entanglementQ
16, An entanglement, located in the vicinity of Lea (N48 44? E16 23'), runs on both
sides of the Thaya for about 20 meters up to the border stones IX/20 and IX/21.
17. A 13 meter. long entanglement runs near the-border stone IX/28,, 1,5;0 meters north-
west of the railroad station in Laa.
18. A barbed Tire entanglement crosses the path which runs from Rfw;hof (N48 45? E16 25"1)
. to Hoaflein (N48 45? E16 230 ). Its length is not known.
19. A 200 meter long entanglement runs along the river in the vicinity of the x itch-
tower located 200 meters upstream from the'Thayafarch confluence.
20. A barbed wire . entanglement runs north of Lexnitz (N lab 50? E15 18?) from the edge
of the Saa.swald to the north edge of the Gilgenbergwald, opposite Fratres (11148 59?
E15 21?).
21. From Luden (N48 549 E1535?) to Neu Riegers (N48 560 E15 26?), about 100500 meters
frcrn the border, an entanglement W is been set up with openings in it to enable
the farmers to get to their fields located on the border. In the course of building
this obstacle,, a clearing 200 meters long and 60 meters wide me made in a wood
northeast of Rotmuehle (N48 570 E15 28? )<
22. About 500 meters east of the Holiabrunn (N48 24? E16 050) -: Zno,jmo (N48 51,
E16 04?) road,an entanglement 500 meters long has been set up.
23? From the Schrattenberg (N48 1 4? E16 440) m Feldsberg (N48 44? E16 46?) road a
through the Raistertwald to Kote 291 which is about 200 meters from the border.,
there is an entanglement about 1200 meters long.
24,, An entanglement beginning at the border at Tnub nhi,Pas%l (N48 1,11? ?, A 46?) extends
to the Bernhardethsl (N48 42? E16 52?) - Breclav (N48 460 E16 56")
railroad, about 200 meters fran the border.
