A-I-o devices ordered by the R u scans for deliver, in 1952., One or
two of the remaining six are to be kept at Zei.sa where they will. be
.3ub_iected to test runs to determine whet improvements can be made in
the instruments that Zeiss is to manufacture for the Russians in 1953..
The resrr will be delivered before the end of 1952,
A contract between Zeiss and DIA was siied in early December 1952; it
calls for the delivery in 1953 of 135 A-1-p devices and 30 amplete sets
' snare parts.
The d'eiss East .rn Sales Office (Dispositionsbuero Ost) (DispB C) has a
file on k-2 devices that are similar to the link trainer, but on an
optical basis in contrast to an electronic basis., The file has been in
the office for some time but has not yet been activated;. ~,eiss has nog
