1. On 23 December 1952, jeeps all driven
by soldiers with red-bordered black ep :u] ets, were parked at the pain entrance
of the former Kreisgericht (district court) on Schiesstattring in St. Poelten
(0 49A I 88). Logs and some recently -treated lwnber wera observed in the lumber
25X1 C yard of the .ugen Kase -ne. About 16 124 loaded four mortars on a truck in the
25X1 C Camp Spratzern (O 497W Br) . T?hree trucks
barracks yard of the Franz Josef Kaserne. Trucks
were parked in the

at`h.e installation. Track wa.3 parked in front of the i)uilding on
Werner Strasse; 3 lieutenant colonels wearing red-bordered black Epaulets with
artillery insignia nd 6 majors wearing red-bordered black epaulets with a,.:rti,l.lery
i.nsi~nia or tank. insip::ia were seen at the Ins-bal;_ation.
2. On 23 December, 7 trucks and 1 weapon carrier were parked at Camp Spratzern.

3. On 24 December, 'jeep Q and -truck driven by soldiers with red-
bordered black eppaulets, left the office on Hoven Gass: in Korneuburg (0 49/S 30).
The low wooden building near the surrounding wall of the Albrecht.:, Kaserne was
25X1 C completed. Trucks driven by soldiers with red-bordered
black epaulets, wer.ee observed at the installation. About 30 E~ practiced with
three AA r aehine Fguns at the cantonment on the road to Disamber g. The intallation
was guarded by a ntry who wore red-bordered black epau~i.etc with artillery
insignia.
4. On 211. December, three majors ,-eariang red-':;ord.e: ed black epaulets with arti:4r; cry
insi:'pia were observed at the Prinz '?ugen Kaseerne in Stockterau (O 49/6 ?21,).
25X1 C Trucks with drivers wearing red-bordered black epaulets
were seen at the Artillerie Kaserna. Commands were heard from the air target
installation in the Artillerie Kaserne? About 30 i?M practiced aiming with
rifles at the fir.i.ng range east of the installation.
