On page 2 is a sketch showing the positions of several cranes in Lepaya
Merchant Docks.
Legends
1. Electrically-driven crane on rails, lifting capacity approximately five tons.
2. Pour cranes on rails, lifting capacity approximately tree to five tons each.
They are thought to be driven by individual diesel engines. Smoke was
observed coming out of one which bore a USA plate.
3. Pive diesel-driven cranes on rails; four of these have a lifting capacity
of three to five tons and the other has a lifting capacity of
approximately eight tons,
4. Terse, cranes on palls, lifting capacity about twee to five tons each.
Pour electrical? powered fixed.cranes belonging to the fish factory.
They have a lifting capacity of one-half ton each. The electric
power is supplied from the transformers in the fish factory. The
power for the fish factory comes by underground, cable from the tow..
