1, The following artillery and machine gun emplacements are located in the Durres
area:
a, In Bishti i Palles there are four artillery pieces, two heavy machine guns,
and antiaircraft machine guns.
b. On the hills Tilaj and Beteraj there are four artillery pieces and four
machine guns,
c. On Hill =1ear the village of. Karpen there are two heavy machine guns, 25X1
d. On the hills Barush, Bize, Drag, and Shen Gjon there are four artillery
pieces and six heavy machine guns.
2. The following barracks are located in Durres:
a. The Marine Barracks, capacity 500 men, are located in Piaca e Marines,
b. Barracks which can accommodate 400 men and which were occupied by the
gendarmerie' school are located in Lagjen Varosh.
c. Barracks for 500 men are located on the Porta Romana road.
d. Barracks for 500.men are located on the Curillave road.
e. The former Royal barracks, now occupied by unidentified artillery battx01on
engaged in practice firing, are located on the beach in Durres.
3. The following fuel, ammunition, and supply warehouses are located, ;in the Durres
area:

a. A large underground depot of ammunition and fuel at Shkamb i Kavajes.
b. An ammunition depot in Ura e Dajlanit.
c. A depot of ammunition, arms, and other supplies at Rruga e Re, near Shkamb i
Kavaj es.
d. An ammunition and food depot in the village of Pjeshkeze.
e.. A depot of food supplies and spare parts on the Rrashbulle-Shkozet road.
f, An ammunition depot near Stamles.
g. An important artillery ammunition depot surrounded by barbed wire at Shillora
e Rrashbullit.
L. There are four boats for coastal defense stationed in Durres. They have a maxi-
mum speed of 35 miles per hour and are armed with a 25 mm gun and two heavy machine
guns*
