The Otechestven Front in Shirbanovo
1. In the village of Shirbanovo (Muletarovo) (N 41-26,E 23-14), Petrich Okoliya, there
are two separate Otechestven Front (Fatherland Front) organizations, both of which
belong to the United Fatherland Front organization. The first organization has a
membership of 205, 80 of whom are women. The second organization has a membership
of 225, 92 of which are women.

The Communist Party in Shirbanovo
4, The Communist Party in Shirbanovo has about 30 members. Until recently, all active
Communist Party members had arms in their homes. These consisted of pistols, rifles,
sub-machine guns, and machine guns. About one month ago these armed Communist Party
members ceased to conduct ambushes at night around the village and their function as
an auxilliary militia was halted. It is believed that the arms were confiscated by
the: Militia.
