1. An antiaircraft unit approximate strength 170 officers and men,
is composed of three batteries and is quartered at the "Bolas Kasarma" (Lower 25X1
Barracks) in Yambol.
2. Each battery of this unit includes four officers and two officer candidates and
is composed of two platoons which include the following:
a. Two scouts;
b. Your observers;
c. Two telephone operators;
d. Your gunners;
e. Eighteen cannoneers; and
f. Six truck drivers. ,
3. Each battery is equipped as follows:
a. Six 37 mm. M-1939 mss;
b. Six Ford trucks, manufactured in Germany, with two front wheels and two rear
half-tracks; these trucks are used to tow guns; and
c. Three Soviet-made range finders (Ednometrov Steredalekomer Z. D., Baas 1 in.
1946), which have been in use since 1446.

Yambol, and the others are kept at the "Dolna Kasarma".

6. In December 1952, approximately 25 soldiers of 3 Battery were sent to Khaskovo to
attend a six- to nine-month artillery training course.
In August 1951, the 1 and 2 Battery underwent 45 days of field
training in the area of Galata, Varna okoliya. In ugust 1952, these two batteries
underwent IjO days field training in the Kamchiya River estuary area. 25X1
5. Prior to autumn of 1952 perated a training course in Soviet
antiaircraft weapons for reservists the "Dolma Kasarlma". This course was
discontinued during the harvest season in order that the reservists might work
in their fields. 25X1
