1, The Zavod Georgi Dimitrott, formerly Veriga Factory, is located in the southwestern
district of Burgas. The factory area is bounded by the Black Sea on the south,
the` Burgas Malko Turnovo highway on the north, an oil-producing factory on the
east , and an unoccupied area on the west. It employs more than 300 permanent
workers and is made up of the following buildingst
a. Six I-story workshops 20 by 10 meters in size;
b. One 2-story building, 20 by 10 meters in size, which is used as an office;:
and
a? One 2-story building, 30 b 20 meters in size, which contains lathes and a
foundry.
2? In December 1950, the machinery of the factory consisted of 30 to 40 wire-drawing
machines, approximately 30 nail.-cutting machines, two or three pressing machines,
three automatic 5nailr-producingn machines, a steam boiler, and umber 25X1
of lath

All the iron used by the factory is imported from
the USSR in the form of wire, bars, and plates. it is brought to the factory from
the harbor in boxcars on the factory's spur Brie. -Truck transportation is also
used by the factory, bat there is no direct means of water transportation.
Three guards maintain a 2l-hour watch on the factory. A permit is required for
entrance.

`j. Gancho Simeonov (lnu) was the factory accountant in 1950.
The technical manager' Ivan Zhechev (lnu) died in February or March 1951. He was
the owner of the factory before its nationalization.
