1. The "Azsia" and?"Mexiko" workshops of the Didsgybr IronWorks are producing
.barrels for the following weapons: 37 mm. antiaircraft guns, 157 mm. antitank.guns,
85 m. antiaircraft guns, 76.2 mm. antiaircraft guns, 105 mm. cannons, 122 mm.
.cannons and howitzers, and 152 mm.. howitzers.
2. Raw. material comes from.theSteel Works in Ozd and from Budapest.
3. Work is usually'done on only one type of barrhl at a.time, usually in series
of 1000 pieces. There are about 3000Cskilled workers. employed at-these shops.
The machinery is . apparently. new. and modern and includes
lathes. The weekly productive capacity of barrels under 100 mm.
for barrels over 100.mm. about 110 - 12Q.
After the barrels are polished they are packed.for shipment. Only about 20 - 25
percent.of the product remains in the country and the rest of the barrels
are shipped east, presumably. to the USSR.
