The following roads in the Timisoara area have been mined: Latunas to the
border; Jamul Mare to the border; Stamora to the border; and Omor to the border.
The ground between the Stamora-border road and the Stamora-Moravita-Vrsac
railraod has been mined.
The village of Brestovat has been evacuated of its population and taken over
by Soviet troops.
The troops wore shoulder oar decorated in .g green.
The 6 Antiaircraft Regiment was moved-in mid-October 1952 from Bucharest to
Buzias. The barracks are located 800 meters south of the town. The unit is
divided into sections of three batteries-each; each battery is composed of
60 to 80 men, The commanding officer is Colonel Haralambie Casaban; the 25X1C
adjutant is Captain Mircea Orasteanu; and the political officer is Lieutenant
Dan Lipteanu. The Soviet liaison officer is Ivan I. Kruschinskii. Each section
has .six 88mm guns and eight 37 mm guns of Czechoslovak type.

The Tank Regiment is located in barracks in Voiteg9 about 30 kilometers south
of Timisoara. The regiment has two battalions of two companies each; each
company has 70 to 80 men and four old T-34 tanks. The commanding officer is
Major Dumitru Ocnaru; the adjutant is Captain Stefan Enescu9 and the political
officer is Panica Ilies.
