1. Keltex factory .(i.e., Kelenf8ld Textile Combine) is the former Goldberger
textile plant, Budafoki ut 111-119, Budapest XI. This is the largest
textile plant in Hungary.
2. The cotton used ix~ imported exclusively from the USSR.
3. The main products turned out by the factory are:
Material for cotton shirts
Cotton products of all sorts
Flannel
Cotton suit fabrics
Cotton uniform, fabrics
Bed linen
Underwear and handkerchiefs for the Russian Army and the
Hungarian Army, the Hungarian Police: and firemen.
The factory works in three shifts. The daily output is 140,000 meters of
fabric; half of this goes to the USSR. The other half of the output is for
domestic use, and of this 90 percent goes to the Hungarian Army.
5. The dyeing plant for the factory is located in Obuda (Budapest III), Kiskorona
utca 13-19. Here the fabrics are dyed in the most oo; mon colors. They are
dyed khaki for the Army, and gray for the firemen, From the dyeing plant
the fabrics go to the ORI (Orazagos Ruhazati Intezet, or State Clotl1ng
Institute), Elnok utoa4, where the shirts are manufactured. Handkerchiefs
