14 From 23 through 28 November 1952, parchim airfield was unoccupied. No
construction acti'i-ity was observed at the field,, The radio installation
east of the highway to Daw- had been removed,1

by the Bauunion Berlin-was not yet available at the planning departma:-it
of the Verkehrsbau agency, in raid-January 1953, source learned that
construction work at the airfield was to be starte on 1 rebrraaryo An
area of 31,000 square meters was to be concreted.
