Political investigation and evacuation of unreliable inhabitants of the I~raslice (N51/K30) area were going on in the summer of 1952. The town.-of Hranicna (Afiarkhausen) was evacuated in:May 1952 and its residents. transferred to interior regions,of Czechoslovakia. Unmarried evacuees received a compensation of 1,500 Kcs. and married ones 2,500 Kcs. There were about 400 residents of Hranicna. No traffic between.Kraslice and.Hranicna.is permitted now. 20 Neither private nor industrial buildings are being built.at.Kraolice, but old buildings are ?being?pulled .down and the materials sent away, in4.some cases.as .far as to Slovakia. Workers employed in pulling down buildings are partly regular members of the Kraslice.district.national committee and. partly brigade workers sent by firms interested in getting the materials. 3. Foodsupplies.have been very poor. Sometimes the inhabitants-have not been able to get bread. 4+. In 1952 dysentery broke.out inthe.Kxaslice nationalized farms and all the sucking .pia died.
