Since the Soviet troops returned to their garrison places in late autumn9 the 'ratatian of enlisted'men and etren of entire units has begun. It has been noticed that railroad transports for this purpose seldom go through Warsaw9 but rath?r north or south of the Brest Warsaw-Frankfurt/Oiler line. It is still not lsriown what lines are used in the eouthD but to the Korth the transports pees through Bydgoazezfl where a large mesa hall with a warehouse and military hospital are being erected, What line is used east of Bydgoszcz has not been reportedg but the first possibility to be considered is Bydgoszcz-Torun-Ilawa (Deutsch Eylau)-Olsztyn (Allenatein)-Zheleznodorozhny (Gerdauen), To the west of Bydgoszcz the section from Bydgoszcz to Pala (Schneid?muehl) is used; from this point9 the Pill-Stargard Szczecin (Stettin) line or the Pala Krzyz (Kreu~)- Kostrzyn (Ku?strin) line is used, 2, It is believed that transportation to and from East Germany is .carried out via Szczecin to a greater extent than before, On 11 December 19529 a train with two locomotives and approximately 1~0 cars was seen at the Szczecin-Gumience station. The train was loaded with armos~ed cars and d?parted in the direction of the German border, SECRET/CONTROL - U,S, OFFICIALS ONLY STATE I ~ ARMY X NAVY x AIR ~ FBI AEC (1RR F. ,r - ~ ..~ (Notse Woshinpten Dishibufton Indh:atod Ey "%"j Flold Didrlbutfon 6y ".#".)
