At a staff offioers' conference held at Peenemuende at 0900 on 18 November 1952 orders were given that all staff officers were to have moved their :. families to Peenemuende by 9 January 1953. At the same conference it was annouuoed that craft of the lR & KS Division would not put to sea during the Christmas leave period, and that crafts were to be held in readiness for sea duty in an The allocations of officers' leave was discussed and it was annr noed that the the senior officer of the division had been ordered by Admire.l Waldemar Verner to take the first leave period. During this period Kapitaen' Leutnant Tamm was to take over command of the Division, and would be responsible-in conjunction with Kapitaen Leutnant Wunde3rlioh for the preparation of the orficerst leave roster. Crews for the above: mentioned five duty craft would be supplied by personnel not on leave, and Kapitaen Leutnant Elmenhorat will assume tactical command of the Division throughout the second leave period. 6. The first of the new KS boats have now been delivered by the "Yachtwerft Berlin" to VQolgast for fitting-out. WWather permitting, it is planned to have )these craft ready for acceptance trials during the month of January. The acceptance committee will be headed by Kapitaen Leutnant Tamp, assisted by Kapitaen Leutnant'Bi6sohke, the divisional engineer officer. 7. Personnel of the eYachtwerft Berlin" have arrived at Wolgast in connection with recent transfer of the new KS boats. These personalities are mainly electrical and machine engineers and includes (a) Herr Habernann (fnu) (b) Herr Szinzoak (fnu) (c) Herr Strohmmeier (fnu) Patrol Boats a machine engineer a machine 'engineer a machine engineer 8. The first six patrol boats have arrived at Peenemuende, and acceptance trials under the command of Kapitaen Leutnant Elmenhorst are already underway. Wol.gast-'Builg KS Boats 9. The. KSS boats under construction at the "Peenewerft Wolgast" are already behind schedule, and it is now estimated that they will not be ready for acceptance trials before the end of January 1953. McKat. Boata 10. The first M.L.?R* hull has arrived at liolgast from the HVolkswerft Stralsund", but its completion date is now dependent on the delivery of the two Diesel engines from the "Dieselmotorenwerk Rostock".
