The factory has 1,500 workers, 900 of whom are women, working in two shifts. Equipment consists of a large number of electric sewing machines and six electric buttonhole machines. Six thousand meters of material are used per day, from which about 2,000 dresses are made. 3. The 1950 balance sheet showed a loss of 8 million lei, and a state inquiry was held in 1951 to determine the responsibility for this. 4.
