(FOR KEY SEE REVERSE) Aircraft Count 14 On 24 January 1953 there were seven MIG-15 aircraft and 35 to 40 IL-10 aircraft at this airfieldo Of these aircraft, six MIG 151s were dispersed on the north-east side of the airfield and another MIG 15stoocl near the hangars, The IL-10 aircraft were dispersed in two rows between the dispersed MIG-15 aircraft and the bangarso The MIG45 aircraft were silver in colour l The M-10 were olive green Apart from two guards near these aircraft, no other personnel were observed* Flyikg Activity 4, There was no flying activity at this airfield on 24 ~Janniary 1953, The weather was lO Oths cloud at 3,000 feet with poor visibility. A,A, site which consists of six A0A0 guns of 3a7 ems caliber is still in the same position at the north-east corner of the airfield, Two guards were posted 50 meters from the site, roofing, This shelter is close to the most easterly hangar, 6. A.A. personnel wore black shoulder- boards with red piping. 8. The following vehicles were observed in the vicinity of the airfields Truoko airforce driver proceeding in the direction of the town with about 15 airforce troops. Truck airforce driver standing empty on the road leading to the airfield from the town of Zebrest, Truck airforce driver, proceeding empty in the direction of the airfieldQ Comment. Observations of Zerbst airfield up to 16 January indicated the presence there of only MIG-15 aircraft belonging to' two fighter regiments. The observation of IL-10 aircraft on 24 January cannot be explained unless they were stationed there only temporarily. SECW T/CQNTROL - UmS.
