1. In July 1952 an undetermined number of Russian troops were bivouaci ed
in a forest on the east bank of the Glda River five or six kilometers
north of the confluence of the Glda and the jotec Rivera,near k'ila
(Schneiden:uehl - P54/R94)
2? Not far fron the bank of the river there was a field vehicle repair
station at which often as rang as 50 vehicles were parked. Beyond
the repair station were tents which had been .,itched by the soldiervs,
3', Tresp&ssing was strictly forbidden in the wooded area,, but fishermen
were allowed to walk along the river bank.,
