1. The locomotive department of the iungarian National Railroads (MAV) in Budapest
makes two locoxriotives a, month. These engines are the improved Net 1.21i. type
and bear the numbers 1+26 or 427. Half of the locomotives manufactured go to
the So iet Union. The plant also makes steam road rollers y threshers. and:
other farm machinery,, craness auto busesr and tractor parts. Since 1952 it .has
also been maianifac ti ling airplane engines and parts for: heavy mortars.
2. 'There is also in Budapest, in Sandor Asztalos Street r an iron foundry where
mines (Lixftalt..ne.a.) are being manufactured. The workmen call these mines
"Doves of Peace' in reference to Mo'scowts continual "Peace" slogans.

A building about 50 by 40 in. has been erected about 500rm. from RAkoopalotax
on the left side of the road to FBt. Adjoining it are two iron posts about 50 m.
high[( and 100 m. apart. The installation is presumed to be a jammiing station of
the Hungarian radio.. ?.
