SUPPLEMENT TO REPORT NO. 25X1 25X1 25X1 25X1 25X1 25X1 25X1 25X1 25X1 25X1 25X1 25X1 25X1 25X1 25X1 25X1 25X1 25X1 At about 1 p.m. on 27 Decer_ber 1952, a ship which had loaded about 600 tons of cement and engine ra +'-a in Rostock from 18 to 22 December 1952 put into Ventapile Harbor (N 57-24, E 21-31) and berthed at the loading pier on the eastern bank of the river where the Soviet merchant shipTi L :T'S also unloaded cerent and engine parts from Rostock. 2 T'nurtean vessels of the Krc.nshtadt class I were on the west s:LLde near the navy barracks installations Ventsxtils Harbor. They were 1pertbed.,s -d.e.by side in groups of three at the pier. Two boats had radar equipment at nasts. Other vessels, tied up there, included ninesweepers I I and three tical vessels Also seen were FT boats which had a non-built-in torpedo tube on eac~d side of the cenn ng wheelho)use, one twin-barreled AA machine gun on the foredeck and one on the fantail and a pear-shaped radar device on top of the conning wheelhouse. I I were larger and longer than the. other PT-boats. Other vessels at the navy pier included: a motor vessel (no funnel' which was about 50 meters long, had no armatment, carried the battle ensign, had a heavy net winch and two cranes on the stern; and no superstructures on the fantail and was a netlayer; and vessel .0 which was between 60 and 70 me ere long, had two funnels and one rest and was a former type- F-7 German escort vessel.
