On 9 January 1953, the Cambrai Kaserne, southeast of the Hindenburg Kaserne was occupied by about 2,5CC troops who wore red-bordered black epaulets with artillery and motor transport insignia. At 4:30 on 31 December 1952, an AAA battery which was emplaced just north of the barracks installation fired 10 to :12 salvos. Motor vehicles were in traffic from and to the barracks installation. 3. On 9 January, the Lutz Kaserne on the east side of Highway 96 and north of the Panaertruppenschule was occupied by 5,000 to 6,000 troops who wore red bordered black epaulets. There was intensive vehicular traffic from 28 December 1952 to 9 January 1953. in the Hindenburg Kaserne. 1- 1. On 9 January 1953, the Hindenburg Kaserne on the east side of Highway 96 and south of Zehrendsdorfer Strasse, Wuensdorf, was occupied by about 2,000 troops who wore bl :.ck-bordered crimson epaulets. From 28 December 1952 to 9 January 1953, the units from this installation detached guard details for the barracks installations on either side of Zehrendsdorfer Strasse and for uniden- tified quarters In Staminlager Zossen. On 22 January two units of 130 to 15C soldiers each, wearing black- -bordered crimson epaulets, were said to have moved out of the Stm=- l.ager Zossen on trucks, proceeding in the direction of Zossen. Two barracks buildings were not lighted on 23 January. The guardhouse at the southern exit of the Stammlager was occupied by soldiers wearing red-bordered black epaulets with artillery insignia, wh le the pre- vious guard detail wore black-bordered crimson epaulets.
