1, Some groups of Chinese workers have been assigned to the V. I.`Lenin Works in
Pilsen. They receive special treatment, including a rate of pay'25% higher
than that of Czech workers in the same category.
2. Although the authorities are doing everything possible through propaganda-to
obtain the approval of the public for the presence of the Chinese workers, they
are resented and made to feel uncomfortable by the Czechs because of the larger
pay they receive.
3. The employment of Chinese workers in Czechoslovakia is allegedly a part of the
general Soviet plan, according to which the more advanced satellite nations are
to instruct the less advanced workers of the Soviet Orbit in their factories.
