10 SMEA Omitting the possible and probable troop shipments,
a total of 371 and 400 supply shipments were loaded in the Cottbus
regional railroad district in October and November 1952 respectively.
The difference in the total number of cars in these 2 months was so
large because of the especially high number of troop trains in Octo--
bar as a result of the transfer of units to their posts upon com-
pletion of the fall manwivers.
