On 10 October 1952 the following goods passed through the Zdhony station, going to the Soviet Union: a. 20 carloads of fLour in bags, coming from the Istvdn Mill at Bdkdscsaba. b . 8 "GJT" carloads of canned goods from the Canned Goodq Factory at Budapest- Ferencvdros. c. 11 carloads of finished steel goods (megmunkdlt acdldruk) from the Rdkosi Works, Ceepel. d. 2$ "L" carloads of pigs from the Szeged Pig Fattener (Sert6shizlal6), Szeged. e. 12 carloads of eggs coming from the Poultry Breeder (Baromfiteny4izt8) at Bdkescsaba. f. 18 carloads of beef, from the Produce Trading Cooperative at Szolnok. g. 12 carloads of motor spare parts, from the Rdkosi Works at Csepel. h. 15 carloads of telephone equipment, from the Telefongydr factory at Budapest. The boxes were marked "Fragile". i. 18 carloads of finished steel spare parts, from MAVAG, Budapest Ferencardros. J. 2 carloads of pharmaceuticals in wooden cases marked "Fragile" from the Chinoin Factory, Budapest. k. 9 carloads of spare parts packed in wooden cases, from the V8r8s Csillag (Hofherr and Schrantz) Factory, Budapest Ferencvdros. On 10 October 1952, the following rail shipment reached ZAhony coming from the direction of the Soviet Union.- 32 carloads of wooden crates with dentin,*Ltion the RAkosi Works at Csepel. b. 15 cars with soldiers. c. 10 flatcars loaded with artillery pieces. d. 22 flatcars loaded with tanks and trucks. e. 5 carloads of goods for the Di:i5s6Z8r Iron Works. f. 2 carloads of steel for the Rakosi Works at Csepel. 3. g. 35 sealed boxcars with Cyrillic lettering, destination: Papa. h. 11 carefully covered flatcars, apparently loaded with goods in wooden cases, marked "Fragile". Destination: HaJmdskar. The following freight left Zdhony for the Soviet Union on 3 January 1953: a. 12 cars of livestock from the :'Papa Pig Breeder and Fattener (Sert&stenyeszt i es Hizlalda), Papa. b. 1 carload of chemical and pharmaceutical products from the Chinoin Factory, Budapest. c. 7 carloads of canned vegetables from the Kecakemet Canned Goods Factory, Kecskemdt. d. 3 carloads of steel spare parts packed partly in wooden crates, from the; Rakos i Works, C eepe 1. e. 2 carloads of precision tools, crated, from the Hungarian Optical Works (MOM), Budapest -Kelenf8 d. f. 10 carloads of aluminum barrels, from Maszobal, Ajka. g. 3 carloads of radio spare parts and radio sets. The markings on the wooden crates were "Handle with great care" and "Caution!". From the Belojanisz (Standard) Worksq originating from Budapest-Kelenfild. h. 11 carloads of cattle and pigs from the Produce and Animal Trading Concern (Termdny &s Allatforgalmi VAllalat) for Counties Hajdu and Bihar, originating in Debrecen. i. 9 carloads of telephone cables and spare parts, crated, from the Tele 6ngyar factory, originating at Budapest-Jfzeefvaros. 1 carload of chemical and pharmaceutical products, packed in wooden boxes, from the HajdusAg Pharmaceutical Works, Debrecenq k.. 11 carloads of steel spare parts in wooden boxes, from the Hungarian Steel Works (Magyar Acelarugyar), originating at Budapest-Ferencvaros. On 3 January 1953, the following care arrived at Zahony from the Soviet Union: a. 15 boxcars containing war material, directed to the commander of the Soviet airbase at Szombathely. b. 10 flatcars carrying AAA guns. Each Car was guarded by six Soviet soldiers.
