Prior to 28 February 1953, the troop section of the Schuetz.3n Kaserne in
Fberswdlde was occupied by about 3,600 troops, and the headquarters section
was occupied by about 800 soldiers and 200 women, At ncon on 22 February,

Scheid Strasse was vacant.
