There were no overhead wires leading from the'Lepaya telephone exchange, which was located on Pasta iela. No overhead wires led to public telephones in Lepaya, and it was therefore assumed that they were connected by underground cable. Overhead wires have been observed elsewhere in Lepaya, but their exact location is not known.' 2. In 1952, it took 17 hours to send an, ordinary telegram from Riga to Lepaya. 3.
