1. Since October 1952 the headquarters of the 6 Rumanian Antiaircraft Regiment
has been located in the former Venetia Hotel in Buzias. Buzias is about
30 kilometers southeast of Timisoara,
2? The regiment is organized in two groups of three batteries each:
ao The strength of each battery is about 80 men who wear dark blue epaulettes
with copper colored borders,
b,, Their armament is eight 88 mm gins (Soviet type) for the first group., and
eight 37 mm guns (Czech type) for the second group.
3a The batteries are stationed as follows.
1 - at acova about 28 kms SE of Timisoara
2 - at Nitchidorf about 32 Ions SE of Timisoara
at Silas about 34 kms SE of Timisoara
5 about 25 kms E of Timisoara
6 about 25 lone E of Timisoara
7 at, Hitias about 23 " s E of Timisoara
The 4 and 8 batteries are not yet activated.
4 The regiment occupies the following observation posts:
Slope 295- (Dealul Silas)
Slope 121 (at about 300 meters north of the Railroad Station of Vucova)
Slope 105 (at about 2 kms E of the colxfluence of the Cerna and the Timis)
Slope 123 (at about 200 meters west oL the road fork Sinersig Capat)
5. The regiment is commanded by Col. Haralambie Casaban.
