School (Wyzeza Szkola Artylerii) is located at Torun and is under the cc end of a Soviet officer who now heir a Polish name, General (fnu) Stolarek. The latter is a protege of General Wladyelaw Koresyc9 the head of the Polish General Staff and the non of Michajl Fomich Koria to during Czarist times was a guard at the Cytadela prison in Warsaw, where Poles were imprisoned and executed. 2. General Bronislaw Polturzycki9 recently appointed deputy of the General Planning .Dir?ector91 is the son of Archip Lecntiev Polturickoy, a coppersmith in Revel (Tallin), Estonia, prior to the revolution. Poltursycki., who was former commander of the Bydgoszcz Military District, came to Poland for the first time in 1945 with the Soviet Army- he wore a Polish uniform at that time but spoke very poor. Polish. 25X1 the history of most generals serving in the Polish Army today is-similar to that described above. 1, In late September 1952, the Polish Ministry of National Defense issued.secret.. .or?derss for:- the purpose of obtaining volunteer officers{, for? aignment to Korea. Volunteers were sought for among artillery and armored troop officers. On it was said that the volunteers were to be sent to Korea to receive w n er training on the battlefronts a group of volunteers were sent to Korea in Apr for? summer training. Officers sent to Korea.were not allowed to disclose their destination, and as an explanation to their families they stated that they were going to attend a course. Czech officers were also enlisted for the same training. 1. C may be referring to the State Economic Planning 25X1 Comaission.
